Katharine is a non-binary, queer, Jewish theatre artist from the unceded territories of the Abenaki and Mohican nations now known as Pawlet, VT. They are a graduate of The William Esper Studio’s Full Time Program, having studied with David Newer, Nancy Mayans, and with the late Bill Esper in the studio’s invite-only alumni Shakespeare Intensive. Katharine was also a part of Red Bull Theater’s Shakespeare Intensive Master Class with Louisa Proske, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Peter Francis James. Favorite Shakespeare credits include: Coriolanus/Asylum Officer in CORIOLANUS (VT&NYC), Beatrice/Verges in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, and Hamlet in HAMLET. As founder & producing artistic director of SitW, they are proud to be fostering community and social wellness through radical art in their home state.
